THE APPERCEPTIONS OF VARIOUS SAILORS
Brace yourselves, boys!
Spitting into the wind
has never been so entertaining.
Hands on your anxious sixty footer.
"Speak As You Spell" no longer a movement.
Ex, Ex, Extraneous.
I can still feel its rhythm
pulsating up from below
every wave catapulting.
Caradine the tensiles.
Bring her about again
if that's your drift.

A PHILANTHROPIC EGOSTIST'S
REDUPLICATED TEENY WEENY
These bonnie plants grow mutually
like Ruskin's Pathetic Fallacy.
But which one,
and will it love me back?
Your acrimonious bush in the breeze
would seem more desirable.
It gesticulates now down wind.
All are headed there eventually.
Disgruntled, yet crediting nature
with human emotions.

SOME STICKLERS FOR THE UNEXCEPTIONAL
PLAUSIBLY POSTURING AT A PIANO BURNING
Excessive heat gives me toothache.
My walkabout had already
popped a few fillings,
and I could see the Iguanas
were getting really annoyed.
A map, according to actual study,
necessary. Nods to wikipedia.
I now know as much as you.
The subjective is forever drifting,
like them clouds of tights pants
I should be peeling downward
had this mahogany not agreed to.

PARTNERS
Tripping when taking
a knee then falling
down a steep hill.
Landing tactfully unhurt.
Having been peeled from
an indentation previously,
I would always
pick cue cards.
This whole attraction thing
can be on me.
Say, I see others
so perhaps your
influence is waning.

THE LIST OF MEANINGLESS WORDS, REVISED
A riverbank estuary
rises up and
we are compliant.
Like joggers on a canal path,
kicked out of one room
having just recently
found their niche.
Here is a hearty hello then
between breaths,
for your troubles
whatever they may be,
causing you to
spend this afternoon
picking up litter.

Can you affect
a northern European accent?
It might help
my bad back.
If I close my eyes
I can still hear you
adjusting your eiderdown.
The mice seem to like it.
"Get away, you little fuckers!"
